Street Address Data Standard (Draft
2) http://www.fgdc.gov/standards/projects/FGDC-standards-projects/street-address/index_html
The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) has created a Street Address Standards Working Group that includes representatives of the interested federal, state, regional, and local government agencies, the private sector, and professional associations, to develop a national Street Address Data Standard that builds on USPS Publication 28 and FGDC’s previously proposed Address Data Content Standard (Public Review Draft, April 17, 2003 http://www.fgdc.gov/standards/projects/FGDC-standards-projects/addressstandard/). The NYS GIS Standards & Data Coordination Work Group has formed a subcommittee to participate in the review process. Please contact the Addressing Standards subcommittee chair, Cheryl Benjamin, by email (cbenjamin@dhses.ny.gov) or by phone (518-474-5212) if you have questions or would like to participate in the subcommittee.New York State Comments on Draft 1
