The New York Statewide Digital Orthoimagery Program has been producing orthoimagery since 2001. High-resolution orthoimagery is available statewide, outside New York City, for viewing and downloading. Many of the Counties have multiple years of NYSDOP coverage. The program's goal is to continue obtaining imagery for the entire State on a 4 to 5 year cycle.

The Digital Orthoimagery training materials can be viewed on-line, or you can download a copy of the Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation that was used during the class. These materials are being provided on-line for useful reference working with digital orthoimagery.

heights, imagery types, and resolutions that are available in the current program.
