Included on this page are methods for GIS users in NYS to network with each other and keep current with GIS related activities in NYS. This page provides links to subscription instructions for New York State, Regional, and National list serves provided to promote discussion of GIS related subjects as well as links to GIS User Groups in New York State. For each user group the contact information, a short description of the group and the geographic area served by the group is available. Current and back issues of the GIST Newsletter, the newsletter of the NYS GIS Coordination Program, are also available from this page.

The "Who's Who in GIS" directory is a listing of GIS professionals and their contact information. Currently, contact information from more than 1,200 GIS professionals is available through this directory. It is the intent of the "Who's Who in GIS" directory to promote coordination and professional development for GIS activities in New York State.
