| Emergency 911 Service Zone Boundaries | The police, fire and ambulance district boundaries have been combined to form Emergency Service Zones (ESZ) for the E-911 Project. Each ESZ has a unique combination of police, fire, and ambulance jurisdiction. For example, in one town, one police department would patrol the entire town. However, different parts of the town are covered by different fire departments. Furthermore, different ambulance companies serve different parts of the town.
