Jeff Langella, New York State Steward of the USGS National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), discusses the outlook of Hydrography in New York State. With the retirement of the NHD in 2023 we discuss a new federal program, USGS 3D Hydrography Program (3DHP) as well as short term plans to update the New York Statewide Hydrography Dataset.
